After months of pretty intensive sewing, my York quilt is finally finished and hanging in the Quilt Museum, York, as part of the Quilt City exhibition. It's well worth the trip to York to see the 31 quilts displayed around the city. The Quilt City leaflet and map guides you round the various venues displaying the quilts, and provides a great (if somewhat exhausting!) tour round York, enabling you to visit shops, hotels, cafe's and galleries you might otherwise have never ventured into! The diversity of peoples' interpretation of celebrating York is amazing - there really is something for everybody here. Visit York!

The other commissioned quilt - "Yorke 1611" by Alicia Merrett looks stunning hanging in the Explore York library entrance.

I am happiest stitching, dyeing, painting and printing in my shed. I walk on the coast path to think. I'm told I should blog to keep my website alive, so here goes.....
