This is an exciting new venture for me as I have not really exhibited my oil paintings before. They are based on my recent residency in Corris, Snowdonia, and Aberystwyth.
A small exhibition of recent paintings and a couple of textile pieces are being exhibited in the reception area of PDP London Architects in Belgravia, until mid January.

Many thanks to Embroidery Magazine for featuring my exhibition in their Jan/Feb issue. Embroidery Magazine is consistently interesting and informative - www.embroiderersguild.com/embroidery
I spent yesterday Installing "Searching For The Invisible Woman" in the East Gallery at Stockport Art Gallery. As I was walking up the busy A6 towards the gallery I was reminded that I cycled up this road in July 1982 (- when I was much younger and fitter!) on the way from Helmshore to the Ramsgate-Dunkirk ferry and a six week cycling holiday in Europe. Little did I think then, cycling past the art gallery, that one day in the future I would have an exhibition there. Very excited about the private view tomorrow - looking forward to meeting lots of old and new friends. Do come - there will be wine! Saturday 9th Jan 2-4pm. Stockport Art Gallery and War Memorial. ![]() In addition to my textile work I have been producing some prints which are now for sale on the Artfinder website here: https://www.artfinder.com/linda-barlow

Had a fabulous but exhausting four days at Festival of Quilts in Birmingham. The response was terrific - far exceeding anything I'd imagined. So many people identified with what my work was saying and were visibly moved by it. Lots of lovely comments and interesting conversations! Thanks to everyone who came along to say hi, and if you missed it - Stockport Art Gallery January 9th 2016!
